Operación de la mesa de fresado

CÓMO AJUSTAR LA PROFUNDIDAD Y LA ALTURA DEL CORTE (FIG. 23)

1.Seleccione una tabla suave y recta, con buenos bordes cuadrados.

2.Marque las líneas “A” y “B” en el extremo de la tabla, como aparece en el detalle 23.

•La línea “A” indica la altura de corte deseada.

•La línea “B” indica la profundidad de corte deseada.

•El área delineada por “A”, “B” y el borde de la tabla es el área que se va a cortar.

3.Si puede lograrse la profundidad de corte deseada en una sola pasada, desajuste las perillas de fijación de la guía y desplace la guía hacia delante o hacia atrás hasta que el filo exterior de la broca se encuentre alienado con la línea “B”. Puede ser necesario tener que volver a colocar el protector a fin de brindar un acceso más fácil.

NOTA: Si desea realizar cortes más profundos, NO lo intente de una sola pasada. Realice varias pasadas menos profundas, y de manera progresiva desplace la guía hacia atrás hasta alcanzar la profundidad de corte deseada.

4.Revise nuevamente que la guía esté paralela a la ranu- ra de la barra de inglete, luego apriete FIRMEMENTE ambas perillas abrazaderas de la guía.

SIEMPRE CERCIÓRESE DE QUE LA GUÍA Y EL DISPOSITIVO DE SEGURIDAD NO PUEDAN ENTRAR EN CONTACTO CON LA BROCA DE FRESADO. NO HACERLO RESULTARÁ EN DAÑOS A LA MESA DE FRESADO Y PODRÍA CAUSAR LESIONES PERSONALES.

5.Siguiendo las instrucciones que vienen con la fresadora, ajuste la altura de corte de la fresadora hasta que la parte superior de la broca de la fresadora se alinee con la línea “A”.

6.Una vez se realicen todos los ajustes, verifique que:

•La fresadora esté FIRMEMENTE apretada en la base de la fresadora.

•La broca de la fresadora esté FIRMEMENTE

apretada en el portabrocas de la fresadora, con al menos 3/4″ de enganche de la espiga.

•La base de la fresadora esté FIRMEMENTE apretada a la parte superior de la mesa de fresado.

7.Retire la plancha de la mesa.

NOTA: Al hacer los ajustes, use una pieza de madera sobrante para hacer los cortes de ensayo antes de hacer el corte con la pieza de trabajo real.
