Note: You’ll need to buy a printer cable, such as the HP IEEE 1284-Compliant Parallel Interface Cable (bidirectional). If you are using Windows 98 and want to use a USB connection, purchase an HP USB-Compliant cable (see “Ordering Information” on page A-8 in the Electronic Appendix). Access the Electronic Appendix from the HP DeskJet Toolbox (see page 8).

If your computer does not have a CD-ROM drive and if diskettes were not included with your printer, see “Printer Software” on page 46 for information on how to get the printer software on diskettes.
