<When the installation plate is directly mounted on the wall>

(1)

Securely fit the installation plate onto the wall by

 

screwing it in the upper and lower parts to hook

 

up the indoor unit.

(2)

Install the installation plate horizontally in the wall.

8-4-2. Electrical Work

(1)The supply voltage must be the same as the rated voltage of the air conditioner.

(2)Prepare the power source for exclusive use with the air conditioner.

(3) To mount the installation plate on a concrete wall

with anchor bolts, utilize the anchor bolt holes as

shown in the above figure.

CAUTION

When installing the installation plate with mounting screw, do not use the anchor bolt hole. Otherwise

CAUTION

Failure to firmly install the unit may result in personal injury and property damage if the unit falls.

In case of block, brick, concrete or similar type walls, make 5 mm dia, holes in the wall.

Insert 3 clip anchors for appropriate 8 mounting screws.

NOTE :

Install the installation plate using 4 to 6 pieces of mounting screw securing four corners with screws.

* No adjustment is necessary.

CAUTION

Use power specified in above table.

This appliance can be connected to the mains in either of the following two ways.

(1)Connecting the power cord to the main power supply provided with a circuit breaker or switch with a contact of 3 mm or more.

In this case, an approved circuit breaker or switch must be used.

(2)Attaching a plug to the power cord and pluging it in to the wall outlet.

In this case, an approved power cord and plug must be used.

NOTE :

Perform wiring works so as to allow a generous wiring capacity.
