COMMUNICATION LINE CONNECTION

RS-232 Communication Port Connection

A 9-pin connector (serial communication connector, female) is needed to connect the product to the host PC via RS-232 communication. Please follow the steps below:

9pin Female Connector

1.Connect RS-232 TX (Black with white stripes) to the pin #2 (RXD) of the 9-pin female connector.

2.Connect RS-232 RX (Red with white stripes) to the pin #3 (TX) of the 9-pin female connector.

3.Connect the GND (black) line of the product to pin #5 of the 9-pin female connector.

4.Plug in the 9-pin female connector to serial port (COM port) of the host PC.

5.Install and launch the application (SAMS).
