You must format a new disc before recording on it.

When loading a DVD-RW disc you must format it in Video or VR mode.  When loading a DVD+RW disc you must format it.

 We cannot guarantee that you will be able to play back in all other manufacturer’ s DVD-Camcorders, DVD players/recorders, or PC’s. For compatibility information, please refer to the manual of the device you wish to play back on.

 Discs must be finalised before it can be played on standard DVD players/recorders. Refer to page 8 for finalised disc compatibility.

 You can play back DVD+RW discs on DVD players/recorders without finalising them.  When formatting a recorded disc, the data recorded on the disc is deleted and disc

capacity is restored, enabling you to re-use the disc.

USING YOUR DVD-CAMCORDER ABROAD

•Each country or region has its own electric and colour systems.

•Before using your DVD-Camcorder abroad, check the following items.

•Power sources

The provided AC power adaptor features automatic voltage selection in the AC range from 100 V to 240 V. You can use your camcorder in any countries/regions using the AC power adaptor supplied with your camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz range. Use a commercially available AC plug adaptor, if necessary, depending on the design of the wall outlet.

•On TV colour systems

Your camcorder is an PAL-system-based camcorder. If you want to view your recordings on a TV or to copy it to an external device, it must be an PAL-system- based TV or an external device and have the appropriate Audio/Video jacks. Otherwise, you may need to use a separate video format transcoder (PAL-NTSC format converter).

•PAL-compatible countries/regions

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, CIS, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Holland, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Norway, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, etc.

•NTSC-compatible countries/regions

Bahamas, Canada, Central America, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Taiwan, United States of America, etc.

Eine neue Disk muss zuerst formatiert werden, um Aufnahmen speichern zu können.  Wenn Sie eine DVD-RW einlegen, müssen Sie diese im Videomodus oder im VR-

Modus formatieren.

 Wenn Sie eine DVD+RW einlegen, müssen Sie diese formatieren.

 Die Wiedergabe in DVD-Camcordern, DVD-Playern/-Recordern oder Computern anderer Hersteller kann nicht garantiert werden. Informationen zur Kompatibilität finden Sie im Handbuch des Geräts, auf dem Sie die Aufnahme wiedergeben möchten.

 Die Disk muss zuerst fixiert werden, bevor diese auf Standard-DVD-Playern/- Recordern wiedergegeben werden kann.

 DVD+RWs können ohne Fixierung auf DVD-Playern und -Recordern wiedergegeben werden.

 Beim Formatieren einer Disk mit Aufnahmen werden die auf der Disk gespeicherten Daten gelöscht und die Kapazität der Disk wiederhergestellt, so dass Sie die Disk erneut verwenden können.

CAMCORDER IN ANDEREN LÄNDERN UND REGIONEN VERWENDEN

•Jedes Land und jede Region hat eigene elektrische Systeme und Farbsysteme.

•Vor der Verwendung des DVD-Camcorders in anderen Ländern und Regionen sollten Sie folgende Punkte überprüfen:

•Stromquellen

Das mitgelieferte Netzteil passt sich im Wechselstrombereich zwischen 100 V und 240 V automatisch an die vorhandene Stromspannung an. Mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil können Sie den DVD-Camcorder überall verwenden, wo Wechselstrom im Bereich 100 V–240 V, 50/60 Hz verfügbar ist. Je nach Steckdose benötigen Sie ggf. einen Adapter. Verwenden Sie nur handelsübliche Adapter.

•TV-Farbsysteme

Der Camcorder basiert auf dem PAL-System. Wenn Sie Aufnahmen auf einem Fernsehgerät ansehen oder auf ein anderes Gerät kopieren wollen, muss es sich um ein Fernsehgerät vom Typ PAL bzw. um externe Geräte mit entsprechenden Anschlüssen handeln. Anderenfalls wird ein gesonderter Videoformatwandler (PAL-NTSC-Formatumwandler) benötigt.
