6.1.3Perimeter Arming

Perimeter arming is used when someone is still in the building, only the exterior (perimeter) zones must be armed, and an entry/exit delay is in effect.

The green Status LED must be lit and, if using a text keypad, “Ready to Arm” must be displayed. If the green LED is not on or the keypad displays “Not Ready,” you must use other methods to arm the system (refer to Section 6.2.2 Force Arming on page 13 or Section 6.2.3 Zone Bypass on page 14).
