MOUNTING USING SCREWS

Remove the front cover using a screwdriver.

Gently loosen the screw in the middle of the circuit board, slide the circuit board down and remove via the keyhole. Fig 10.

Push out or screw through the mounting knockouts in the base.

Hold the base against the wall at the selected location and mark the points for drilling. Then drill the holes and insert wall plugs.

Attach the bracket to the mounting surface with screws provided.

Return the circuit board to the base.

Re-attach front cover.

Please remember to have installed both Movement Detectors before continuing.

INSTALLING THE KEYFOB

There is one Keyfob provided with your BT Home Monitor VP1000 and it is pre-programmed as USER 1.

You can use it to turn the security system on and off and to send Emergency messages.

Another 7 Keyfobs can be registered to your Control Panel.

Press ON and ON Home together to send an Emergency alert.

The Keyfob is supplied with the battery already installed.

Press the STAR button. Fig 11.

Check that the Keyfob LED flashes and that the Control Panel gives an audible confirmation.
