CHANGING REMOTE HANDSET CODE & RESETTING RECEIVER:

A code is preset for the remote handset and receiver, but can be changed if required. If one or more

Sonnets are to be installed, confirm that the remote control signal codes are different for each unit.To change the code, complete the following:

1. Change DIP switch position (shown at the top of Figure 13).

 

 

2. Press and hold the receiver’s reset button (see Figure 14) until you hear

 

 

two (2) acoustic signals. After the second longer acoustic signal, release

 

 

 

 

the reset button and within the

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

subsequent 20 seconds, press the

 

 

 

 

(down arrow) on the remote handset

 

 

 

 

until you hear an additional long

 

 

 

 

acoustic signal confirming the new

 

 

 

 

code is set.

Methods for Resetting the Receiver:

Method 1 - From Outside the Cabinet.

The access hole for the reset button is located on the left side of the unit 87/16” (214mm) back from the front edge of the cabinet. Place a small screwdiver through the hole in the cabinet side (refer to Figure

15)and depress the reset button. Method 2 - From Inside the Firebox.

Follow steps 1-4 in REMOVING VALVE COVER - MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE. Bend a paper clip to reach the reset button on the left side of the receiver (refer to Figure 16). Depress the reset button using the paper clip.
