Maintenance And Service
REMOVING VALVE COVER:
The valve cover can be removed to access the gas valve, the fan, wiring harness, or other components.
1.Remove the glass door as shown in the
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE - GLASS DOOR REMOVAL.
2.Carefully remove the log set, ember material, and brick panels, refer to
SECONDARY INSTALLATION - BRICK PANEL INSTALLATION and SECONDARY INSTALLATION - LOG SET AND EMBER INSTALLATION.
3.Using a
(2) screws that hold the burner tray in place (pointed out in Figure 17). Pick up the burner tray at the front (see Figure 18) then pull it out of the firebox.
4.Using a
(6) screws that hold the valve cover in place (pointed out in Figure 19). Pick the valve cover up then out of the firebox (see Figure 20).

The qualified service agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit. The installation is not proper or complete until the operation of the converted appliance is checked as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the kit.
