Use a wet or dry towel or soft brush to remove dust or dirt from facing material.

Apply a non-combustible adhesive to attach tile, stone or other non-combustible finishing materials per manufacturer’s instructions.

D. Installing Flue Restrictors

Locate the flue restrictor and two screws inside the manual bag. Use the following table to determine which restrictors to use for the vent run.

Mount the flue restrictor to the flapper door using two screws (see Figure 7.5).
