Secondary Installation

11. Center the keystone over the gap at the top of the trim and slide it into place. Slide the side covers over the bottoms of the sides so the cover will be as low as the trim (see Figure 63).

IMPORTANT: The trim panels or surrounds must not seal ventilation openings in the fireplace.

INSTALLATION:

Lift the trim upright in front of the fireplace with the four (4) hooks pointing towards the fireplace. Slide the hooks over their corresponding bushings (see Figures 64 & 65). Ensure the hooks are secure before releasing the trim. The surround should be wiped with a damp cloth periodically.

REMOVAL:

Lift the trim straight up in order to unhook the notch on the hooks from the bushing. Pull the trim away from the fireplace. Place the trim where it will not be damaged.
