HOW TO USE
Carpet Cleaning
Step 1: Adjust shampoo control ●N , from
MAX = for heavy traffic areas to
RINSE = clear water only (Fig. 3).
Step 2: Plug in cord.
Step 3: Lift handle to operating position.
Step 4: Push power switch ●C to turn on the extractor (Fig. 4).
Step 5: Push brush agitation switch ●B to turn on the brushes (Fig. 4).
Step 6: Push the handle foot release and recline handle to use position. Push shampoo/rinse button ●A and hold to apply solution and move the unit forward and then backward at a moderate pace two times. As the nozzle moves over the carpet, the cleaning solution is sprayed onto the carpet. At the same time the nozzle picks up the dirty water and places it in the recovery tank. It is important to move the unit in a steady motion. (Fig. 4)
Step 7: Release the button to stop the solution flow. Avoid
Step 8: Move the extractor over the carpet several more times without pushing the shampoo/rinse button. This removes excess water and helps the carpet dry faster.
Step 9: Repeat steps 6, 7, 8 and 9 on heavily soiled areas.
Transporting the Extractor
When moving the unit from one location to another, always make sure the recovery ●J and clean water ●K solution tanks are completely empty. Then tilt the unit slightly backward and roll on rear wheels or use the carrying handle ●G for transporting up and down stairs (Fig. 5).
Emptying the Recovery Tank
CAUTION: Turn off the power switch and unplug the extractor to empty the recovery tank.
Step 1: Pull straight up to remove the recovery tank from the unit (Fig. 6).
Step 2: Remove the automatic
Step 3: Rinse out the waste water recovery tank thoroughly.
Step 4: Remove and clean the float and filter by rinsing it with water after each use. Place the same float and filter back into the recovery tank.
Step 5: Firmly push the tank all the way into unit until secure.
Step 6: Resume cleaning or store.
