Dishes, tins and trays should not be placed directly on the oven base as it becomes very hot and damage will occur.

For your safety

Always remove the grill pan before attempting to adjust the shelf position. Oven gloves should be used when removing or pulling the shelf in and out.

For hygiene and safety reasons this cooker should be kept clean at all times. A build-up of fats or other foodstuffs could result in a fire, especially in the grill pan.
