Food Type

Food Type is a function that allows you to enter a cooking function by selecting a food type instead of a cooking mode.

Use the following chart as a guide.

To Use Programmed Food Type:

1.From the Main Menu touch FOOD TYPE.

2.Follow the menu screens to select the specific food item and quantity to be cooked.

The sensor will determine cook times for most fresh and frozen vegetables, grains, fish fillets and frozen entrées.

To change the doneness settings, touch the Doneness key and touch the “plus” (+) or “minus” (-) keys to increase or decrease to the desired level.

3.Read and follow the preparation directions that appear on the display.

5.When the stop time is reached, the oven will shut off automatically. If enabled end-of-cycle tones will sound, then reminder tones will sound every minute.

6.Touch OFF or open the door to clear the display and/or stop reminder tones.

WarmHold

WARNING

Food Poisoning Hazard

Do not let food sit in oven more than one hour before or after cooking.

Doing so can result in food poisoning or sickness.

Hot cooked food can be kept warm in the microwave oven.

Warm Hold can be used by itself or can be preprogrammed to follow a cooking cycle.

Cover plates of food.

Cover foods that were covered while being cooked.

For best results, do not cover baked goods such as pastries, pies, turnovers, etc.

To Use Warm Hold:

1.From the Main Menu touch MANUAL METHOD.

2.From the Manual Method menu touch MORE CHOICES.

3.Touch WARM HOLD.

4.Enter the desired cook time using the numerical keypad.

5.Touch START.

When the stop time is reached, the oven will shut off automatically. If enabled end-of-cycle tones will sound, then reminder tones will sound every minute.
