Any applian ce that is not furnished with a power supply cord but that includes a set of cast ers must be installed with a teth er. Adeq uate means must be provide d to limit the moveme nt of this applian ce without depen ding on or transmit ting stress to the elec trical conduit . The follo wing requirements apply:

1.Maximum height of casters is 6" (152mm).

2.Two of the casters must of be the lock ing type.

3.Such mobile appliances or appliances on mobile stands must be insta lled with the use of a flexible conne ctor secure d to the building structure.
