Il fabbricatore di ghiaccio nel freezer Sub-Zero

ècompletamente automatico e collaudato in

fabbrica. Per iniziare a produrre ghiaccio, attivare il tasto sul pannello di controllo.

Il fabbricatore non si spegne se il secchiello non è in posizione.

Quando si rimuove il secchiello del ghiaccio per lunghi periodi, disattivare il fabbricatore del ghiaccio premendo il tasto sul pannello di controllo.

FORM AZIONE D I GHIACCIO

Il fabbricatore di ghiaccio è concepito per creare ghiaccio sufficiente per l’uso regolare di una famiglia. Il tempo necessario per i cicli di for- mazione di ghiaccio dipende dalle condizioni di carico, dall’apertura delle porte e dalla tempe- ratura ambiente. In media è possibile prevedere un ciclo di ghiaccio (otto cubetti per ciclo) ogni 2 ore.

Il fabbricatore di ghiaccio funziona con una pressione idrica compresa tra 2,1 e 6,9 bar. In alcuni casi, un impianto con filtro ad osmosi inversa potrebbe non riuscire a mantenere costante la pressione idrica minima.

NOTA IMPORTANTE: se il ghiaccio non viene usato regolarmente, i cubetti tendono a sciogliersi e ad attaccarsi gli uni con gli altri. Per evirare che ciò accada, sostituire il ghiaccio nel contenitore in base alle proprie esigenze.

FUNZI ONE MAX ICE

La funzione “Max Ice” accelera i tempi di for- mazione del ghiaccio in base alle proprie esi- genze. L’aumento di produzione di ghiaccio dura 24 ore allo scadere delle quali torna al normale livello di produzione. Quando la funzione è attiva la produzione di ghiaccio aumenta fino al 40%.

Per avviare la funzione Max Ice, premere il tasto

sul pannello di controllo per visualizzare

la spia sul display del pannello. Fare riferimento alla figura di seguito.

Per disattivare la funzione Max Ice, basta

premere il tasto e l’unità ritorna alla normale produzione di ghiaccio.

SISTEMA DI P UR IF ICAZ ION E DEL L’A RIA

Tutte le unità Sub-Zero da incasso, tranne il modello ICBBI-36F, includono il sistema avanzato di purificazione dell’aria. Questo sistema riduce la presenza di batteri, odori e persino di gas etilene che causa il deterioramento prematuro di frutta e verdura. Una cartuccia di purificazione dell’aria installata in fabbrica è posizionata all’interno del comparto frigorifero, nella parte destra della parete posteriore.

La cartuccia di purificazione dell’aria dura all’in- circa un anno. Quando questa funzione è attiva, viene visualizzata la spia sul display del pan- nello di controllo. Per sostituire la cartuccia, afferrare la parte inferiore della copertura esterna ed estrarla. Ciò la farà inclinare sco- prendo un’altro coperchio e la cartuccia. Fare riferimento alla figura di seguito. Tirare in avanti il coperchio dalla parte superiore per estrarre la cartuccia dalla propria posizione. Rimuovere la cartuccia.

Per riposizionarla, mettere la nuova cartuccia in posizione con il connettore rivolto verso il basso. Una volta posizionata, chiudere il coperchio fino a che non si sente uno scatto. A questo, punto abbassare la copertura esterna fino a che non si blocca contro la parete.

Una volta riposizionata la cartuccia per la purifi- cazione dell’aria, tenere premuto il tasto sul pannello di controllo per 5 secondi. Ciò per resettare la spia di purificazione dell’aria che non sarà più visibile.
