7.4 System Information Queries

7.4.1 QV Query Firmware Version

This command returns the current internal firmware release number in ASCII text in the following format:

QV<space>nnn.nnn.nnn<CR><LF>

Where nnn is the number of each part of the release number, padded on the left with leading zeros if necessary.

Example:

QV 007.003.001<CR><LF>

The syntax for the command is:

QV<CR><LF>

7.4.2 QN Query Controller Serial Number

This command returns the controller serial number in ASCII text in the following format:

QN<space>n-nnnnn<CR><LF>

Where the first number n is the number designating the model group (3 for CC-3.5, or 4 for C4) and the five digits nnnnn following the dash comprise the sequential part of the serial number.

Example:

QN 4-03376<CR><LF>

Note: When recording or reporting the serial number, always use all 7 digits.

The syntax for the command is:

QN<CR><LF>
