MAINTENANCE

If the cutter hits foreign objects such as stones, roots or the like the cutter will slip against the cutter bracket. This may mean that the contact surface of the cutter bracket appears slightly worn, which is completely normal. This is a safety device, which reduces the risk of the engine shaft becoming bent.

Changing the oil

The engine oil should be changed the first time after 5 hours running time.

The engine oil should be changed each year and every 25 working hours.

When changing the oil proceed as follows::

Disconnect the HT lead from the spark plug.

Empty the fuel tank

Close the fuel tap.

Unscrew the oil filler cap.

Place a suitable vessel to collect the oil in.

Drain the oil by tipping the engine so that the oil runs out through the filler pipe.

Ask where you can dispose of surplus engine oil at your local petrol station.

Fill with new engine oil of a good quality. See the Technical data section.

Check the oil level with the dipstick on the oil filler cap.The oil filler cap must be completely screwed down to give a correct picture of the oil level. If the oil level is low, fill using engine oil up to the upper level on the dipstick.

Screw on the oil filler cap.

Drive and gearbox

Ensure the wheels and wheel axles are clean and free from leaves, grass, etc. It is also important to keep clean around the drive gearbox.

Remove the protective cover by unscrewing the screws.

Clean the gearbox with a brush. Also check that the drive belt and belt pulley are undamaged, for example, no cracks.

Replacing and adjusting the V-belt

Remove the protective cover by unscrewing the screws.

Remove the hubcap on the front wheel by the gearbox, prize carefully with a screwdriver. Unscrew the carriage bolt and remove the wheel.

Remove the belt from the deck belt pulley. Check that the deck belt pulleys move easily on the axle, spray with penetrating oil between and behind the pulleys and grease the axle.

Fit the new belt and make sure it fits correctly by the ball- bearing before adjusting the belt.

WB48S e, WB48S, WB53S e specifications

Husqvarna is known for its high-quality outdoor power equipment, and the WB53S e and WB48S series lawn mowers are no exception. These models are ideal for both residential and commercial users seeking efficient, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions for lawn care.

The Husqvarna WB53S e model features a robust 53 cm cutting deck that effectively handles a variety of grass types and terrains. This mower is powered by a high-performance electric motor, providing a silent yet powerful operation that minimizes the environmental impact normally associated with gasoline mowers. An integrated battery system offers a strong runtime and quick recharging, ensuring that users can complete their mowing tasks without interruption. The WB53S e also boasts an adjustable cutting height, allowing for personalized mowing experiences depending on the season and grass conditions. Its user-friendly interface makes operation a breeze, while large rear wheels provide excellent maneuverability and stability.

The Husqvarna WB48S model, while smaller with a 48 cm cutting deck, does not compromise on performance. Designed for smaller lawns, this push mower is lightweight and easy to navigate in tight spaces, making it perfect for homeowners with intricately landscaped gardens. Equipped with a powerful four-stroke engine, the WB48S combines reliable performance with minimal maintenance requirements, thanks to its simple design and durable components. Users appreciate the adjustable handle height, which adds to comfort during extended mowing sessions.

For those who prefer a battery-powered alternative, the Husqvarna WB48S e brings the same versatility as the traditional WB48S but with advanced eco-friendly features. The electric motor ensures low noise levels, enabling lawn care even in noise-sensitive areas. Much like the WB53S e, the WB48S e comes with an easy-to-use battery management system, making it easy for users to monitor and replace the battery as needed.

Both the WB53S e and WB48S series emphasize ergonomics, featuring cushioned handles and easy-start systems that enhance user comfort and convenience. With their efficient designs, enhanced technologies, and robust performance, the Husqvarna WB53S e and WB48S series mowers are exceptional choices for anyone looking to maintain a beautiful lawn while minimizing their ecological footprint. These mowers illustrate Husqvarna's commitment to innovation in outdoor equipment, merging cutting-edge technology with user-friendly designs for a superior gardening experience.
