Using IBM Drivers 5-11
Enabling RPL
The following instructions explain how to use the RPL
program when your PC has both a hard disk drive and a
floppy disk drive. Refer to your network operating system
documentation for the steps to be performed on the
network to use RPL and for information on different drivers
that you can load with RPL.
To enable RPL:
1Boot your PC under DOS.
2Make sure that the backup copy of the TokenDisk diskette
is in a floppy drive on your PC.
3At the diskette prompt, type:
3TOKDIAG [Enter]
4From the Install pull-down menu, select Configure Adapter.
5Using the arrow keys, move to Boot PROM.
6Press [Enter] and select Enable.
7Press [Enter].
8Select OK and press [Enter] to save the setting.
9Remove the diskette from the drive and reboot the PC.
The following message appears at the top of your screen:
Type H to boot from the hard disk
10 Type H to boot from your local hard disk, or press any key
to boot from the network server.
