NDIS Systems with Multiple Adapters

If you are installing more than one 3C619C adapter, the PROTOCOL.INI file must be modified to bind the driver to each adapter. Parameters must be added to the file to distinguish each adapter attached to the same driver. These parameters with their corresponding values are shown in the table below.

For an ISA PC with two 3C619C adapters configured in 3Com mode, you must add the following lines to the CONFIG.SYS file:

DEVICE = C:\LANMAN\PROTMAN.DOS/I:C:\LANMAN

DEVICE = C:\LANMAN\TLNK3.DOS

DEVICE = C:\LANMAN\TLNK3.DOS

DEVICE = C:\LANMAN\<PROTOCOLDRIVER>.DOS
