Before removing the WLAN module, follow these steps:
5.Remove the primary hard drive (see “Hard drive” on page 4-12)
Remove the WLAN module:

Remove the display assembly:
Disconnect the display panel cable
2.Remove the WLAN antenna cables from the clips 3 built into the top cover
3.Disconnect the TV tuner cable from the system board
Remove the four Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws

Remove the system board:
b.Subwoofer cable 2 (select models only)
c.USB board cable
d. Power connector cable
3.Lift the right side of the system board up until it rests at an angle
4.Remove the system board 3 by sliding it up and to the right at an angle
Reverse this procedure to install the optical drive board and the system board

6.Disconnect the fan cable 1 from the system board
8.Remove the fan/heat sink assembly 3 from the system board
Reverse this procedure to install the fan/heat sink assembly

Backup and recovery
Creating recovery discs
■The computer must be connected to AC power during this process
■Only one set of recovery discs can be created per computer
■Number each disc before inserting it into the optical drive
Backing up your information
■At regularly scheduled times
■Before the computer is repaired or restored
■Before you add or modify hardware or software
