Appendix A

Evaluation Mode

By default, the ER Server and Client are set to the evalua- tion mode. This appendix explains how to use the ER Server in the evaluation mode, and how to activate the ER Server to function in the activated mode.

Administrator Console

After logging on the Server, the ER Status pop-up box opens to inform you that the ER unit is currently in the eval- uation mode:

The Server will store data for the period specified in the pop- up box: “EVALUATION MODE - MAX DATA STORAGE ‘X’ WEEKS”—in which ‘X’ represents the maximum number of weeks in the ER’s data storage scope.
