Wiring the UPS
Verify that all branch circuit (mains) and low voltage (control) circuits are
de-energized, and locked out before installing cables or making connections, whether in
the junction box or to the UPS.
Verify that the battery modules are not installed in the UPS.
Do not install battery modules until you are ready to power up the UPS. Batteries can be
permanently damaged if loaded prematurely.
Check national and local codes before wiring.
Wiring by a qualified electrician is required.
Select wire size and connectors according to national and local codes.
Use flexible metal conduit to make maintenance and service easier.
1. Set the input selection switch according to the
table shown below.
