3Remove 4 T8 screws in the drive carrier:

•922-9583

Server Note: For the lower hard drive on the server, the screws are located in front and back of the carrier.

•922-9585

4Lift the drive from the carrier.

5If replacing the optical drive flex cable, install and align the cable carefully. Apply the straight edge of the included tape to the flex connector then fold over onto the top

of the flex cable to secure to the drive.

Server Note: To install the bottom hard drive flex cable, connect it to the hard drive, then re-use the black tape, if any, to secure the connector to the top of the hard drive.
