Selects the language that the interface displays in. Drop down the list to

make your selection.

Selecting Auto causes the CN8000 to display the pages in the same

language that the browser is set to.

Note: If your browser is set to a non-supported language, the CN8000

looks to what your server’s operating system is set to. If the operating

system is set to a supported language it will use that language to display

its pages. If the operating system is set to a non-supported language, the

CN8000 defaults to English.

After making your choice, click Apply.

Log

The CN8000 logs all the events that take place on it. Following a reset, it writes them to a log file, which can be used as a searchable database with a log server. To view the contents of the log file, click Log under the Preference menu. A screen similar to the one below appears:

A maximum of 512 events are kept in the log file. As new events are recorded, they are placed at the bottom of the list. When a new event is recorded after there are 512 events in the log file, the earliest event in the list is discarded.

Note: To maintain and view a record of all the events that take place (not just the most recent 512), set up the Log Server AP program. see The Log Server, page 119.

To clear the log file, click on the Clear Log icon at the lower right of the page.
