Changing a Phone/PC Ethernet Interface

Changing a Phone/PC Ethernet Interface

The 4610SW IP Telephone ordinarily communicates with any optionally-attached PC in auto-negotiation mode. This basically means the PC and telephone together decide how to communicate when they are connected. Although unlikely, there may be an occasion where you or your System Administrator will want to force the communication to a particular setting.

1.Select PC Ethernet interface from the third Options Main screen.

The first PC Ethernet Interface screen displays showing the current setting.

2.If the setting to which you want to change appears on the first screen, see Step 3.

If the setting to which you want to change does not display on the first screen, use the Page Right indicator to move to the second screen.

3.Press the Line/Feature button on either side of the desired setting.

The Current setting on the first screen changes to your selected setting.

4.To save your selection, select Save. To restore the original setting without changing it, select Cancel.

The third Options Main screen redisplays.
