Port configuration

Table 24 provides information on ports that the switch uses. When configuring the switch for
various policies, take into consideration firewalls and other devices that may sit between switches
in the fabric and your network or between the managers and the switch.
Devices All devices can access the management server.
Any device can connect to any FC port in the fabric.
Switch access Any switch can join the fabric.
All switches in the fabric can be accessed through a serial port.
Zoning No zoning is enabled.

80 TCP HTTP Use the ipfilter command to block the port.
111 UDP sunrpc This port is used by Platform API. Use the ipfilter command to
block the port.

161 UDP SNMP Disable the SNMP service on the remote host if you do not use it,
or filter incoming UDP packets going to this port.
443 TCP HTTPS Use the ipfilter command to block the port.
512 TCP exec
513 TCP login
514 TCP shell
897 TCP This port is used by the Platform API.
