6 Install the new ribbon in the cartridge:
1Insert the lower roll into the cartridge holders.
2Slip the upper left cardboard core onto the blue gear of the cartridge and insert the upper roll into the cartridge holders.
Shiny side is face down.

7 Turn the upper right white spool clockwise to tighten the ribbon, as shown.
