Setting Up the Printer Hardware

The printer does not work. All | Check to see if the printer is plugged into a live power |

| All of the protective parts have been removed. |
| The interface cable is securely connected between |
| the printer and computer. |
| Check to see if the Alarm LED is blinking. If the |

The printer does not work in | The mode in the Parallel Port setting of your PC |
ECP mode of your PC. | might not be ECP mode. You might need to change a |
| setting in the BIOS of your PC to use ECP mode. |

Setting Up the Printer for Windows
