5 Receiving a fax
Receive Modes
By factory default, the factory setting of Receive Mode is “Fax”. Your machine will automatically receive any faxes that are sent to it. There are four receive modes of this machine as below.

To set a receive mode follow the instructions below:

b Press a or b to choose Initial Setup. Press OK.
c Press a or b to choose Receive Mode. Press OK.
d Press a or b to choose Fax Auto, Fax/Tel, External TAD or Fax Manual. Press OK.
e Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD will display the current Receive Mode.
