48 Using the answering machine
Deleting
1. To delete an individual message, press 5 during playback of the message you want to delete.
Memos can be any length, up to the maximum recording capacity of 12 minutes.
You cannot record a memo using the base unit.
R will flash when recording.
When a memo is recorded the message counter will increase by 1.
Or
To delete all messages, press 5 after all messages have been played back.
Memos
You can record a memo on your BT Synergy 3505 for another user of your phone. Memos are stored and played back in the same way as incoming messages.
1.Pick up the handset and press 
twice. You hear the main menu announcement.
2. Press 7 . The prompt announces “Please speak after
the tone. To end recording press Square”.
4.After the tone, speak your memo clearly into the
handset. Press 
to end recording.
Your memo is stored and can be played back later.
5.Press and hold 
to return to standby.
