Call settings

To add or edit a speed dial

You can use the settings menu to set new speed

dial numbers. The default speed dial for is BT Answer 1571.

1Press Menu, scroll down to Settings and press Select.

2 Scroll down to Call settings and press Select. 3 Scroll down to Speed dial and press Select.

4Scroll to highlight the Speed dial button number 1-9 you want to assign or change and press Edit.

5Either press Clear to delete the existing number then enter the new phone number (in full), or press Contacts to add a number from the Contact list. Scroll to the entry and the number you want, then press Select.

6Press Save to confirm.

To switch auto talk on/off

When you receive a call, if the handset is on the cradle you can answer it by lifting the handset off the cradle, this is called auto talk. When you switch auto talk off, all calls must be answered by pressing . The default setting is On.

2 Scroll down to Call settings and press Select.

4 Scroll up or down to highlight On or Off and press Select.
