This ﬁeld displays the name of the ELAN to which this LEC belongs.

The ELAN Properties Screen

LEC ID (Read-Only)

The LEC ID displays the LAN Emulation Client Identiﬁer assigned to this LEC by the LAN Emulation Server when the LEC was created. If the LEC ID ﬁeld reads “0” it signiﬁes that this LEC is not a member of an emulated LAN, and is not connected to a LAN Emulation Server.

Actual ELAN Name (Read-Only)

This ﬁeld displays the name of the ELAN to which this LEC belongs.

LEC State (Read-Only)

This ﬁeld displays the current state that the LEC is in. The possible states are as follows:

•initialState

•lecsConnect

•conﬁgure

•join

•initialRegistration

•busConnect

•operational

NOTE

Section 3.10.1, ATM LEC Table Screen Fields, provides deﬁnitions for the possible states of the LEC State ﬁeld.

Status (Read-Only)

This ﬁeld displays the current status of the LEC. This ﬁeld displays either “active” or “notinservice”.

LANE Version (Read-Only)

This ﬁeld displays the current version of LAN Emulation being used. This ﬁeld reads [1.0] only.

LEC ATM ADDR (Read-Only)

This ﬁeld displays the ATM Address of the LEC.
