INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Cabletron Systems SEHI-22FL Intelligent Stackable Hub User’s Guide. This manual provides installation instructions and reference information for the SEHI-22FL.

NOTE

The term SEHI (Stackable Ethernet Hub with Intelligence) is used throughout this manual when describing the features and functions of the SEHI-22FL.

1.1USING THIS MANUAL

Read through this manual to gain an understanding of the features and capabilities of the SEHI. A general knowledge of Ethernet and IEEE

802.3type data communications networks and their physical layer components is helpful when installing the SEHI.
