Canceling Receiving a Document

To Cancel Receiving on a Single-Line

Follow this procedure to cancel receiving a document.
1. Visually check the display to confirm that a document is being
received.

Stop
To cancel the reception, press Stop.
The following message is displayed:
CANCEL DURING TX/RX?
YES=(*)NO=(#)

or Press * to cancel receiving the document or press # to let receiving
continue. After you press * an alarm sounds, document reception
is canceled, and the following messages are displayed.

If the receive report feature is on or set to PRINT ERROR ONLY,
an RX REPORT also prints. (➞16-8)
