Shooting Function Settings

Function settings particular to movie shooting are explained here.

QQuick Control

If you press the <Q> button while the image is displayed on the LCD monitor, you can set any of the following: AF method, Drive/self-timer mode, Image-recording quality (still photos), Movie recording size, Video snapshots, White balance, Picture Style, Auto Lighting Optimizer, and Miniature effect movie.

In Basic Zone modes, only the functions in bold can be set.

1Press the <Q> button. (7)

X The settable functions will be displayed.

2Select a function and set it.

Press the <W> <X> keys to select a

function.

XThe selected function and Feature guide (p.52) will appear.

Press the <Y> <Z> keys or turn the <6> dial to set the function.

To set Drive/self-timer’s <q> setting or Picture Style parameters, press the <B> button.

3 Exit the setting.

Press <0> to finalize the setting and return to movie shooting.

You can also select <2> to return to movie shooting.
