2-4 Setting Up Chapter 2

1Remove the shipping tapes

from the top of the unit. 2Remove the protective piece

from the multi-purpose tray.

3Open the document tray (MultiPASS models only), then remove the

protective sheet.

4Open the operation panel partially by gently pulling it towards you (it

only opens slightly). Then remove the protective sheet from the ADF.

Close the operation panel by pressing it down from the centre until it

locks into place.

Close the document tray (MultiPASS models only).
