Program AE

Like <> (Full Auto) mode, this is a general-purpose shooting mode. The camera automatically sets the shutter speed and aperture value to suit the scene’s brightness. This is called Program AE.

1 Set the Mode Dial to < >.

Focus the subject.

 

 

Look through the viewfinder and aim any AF point

 

over the subject. Then press the shutter button

halfway.

s The AF point that achieves focus will flash briefly. At the same time, the beeper will sound and the focus confirmation light < > in the viewfinder will light.
