Troubleshooting
This chapter describes how to identify and resolve Catalyst 2950 and Catalyst 2 955 sof tware p rob lem s
related to the Cisco IOS software. Depending on the natur e of t he p rob lem , you can us e the
command-line interface (CLI) or the Cluster Management Suite (CMS) to identify and solve problems.
To identify and resolve Cisco-approved Course Wave Division Multiplexer (CWDM) Gigabit Interface
Converter (GBIC) problems, you must have the enhanced software image (EI) installed on your
non-Long-Reach Ethernet (LRE) Catalyst 2950 switch.
