SN 5428 Basic Description

The SN 5428 Storage Router is a 1U rack-mountable chassis (see Figure 1-1) that provides IP hosts with access to Fibre Channel storage through an IP network.

The storage router provides IP hosts with access to Fibre Channel storage as if the IP hosts were directly attached to the storage. (See Figure 1-2.)
