The number of soft partitions is set to 3.

The set lp_io_mask0 1 command defines QBB0 (and its I/O risers) as residing in partition 0.

Set lp_cpu_mask0 f assigns CPUs 0–3 to partition 0. The set

lp_mem_size0 6GB command assigns 6 GB of memory to partition 0.

Set lp_ io_mask1 6 defines QBB1 and QBB2 (and its I/O risers) as residing in partition 1. The set lp_cpu_mask1 cf0 command assigns CPUs 4–7, 10, 11 to partition 1. The set lp_mem_size1 16GB command assigns 12 GB of memory to partition 1.

The set lp_ io_mask2 8 defines QBB3 (and its I/O risers) as residing in partition 2. Set lp_cpu_mask1 f300 assigns CPUs 8, 9, 12-15 to partition 2. Set lp_mem_size1 10GB assigns 10 GB of memory to partition 2.

The set lp_shared_mem_size 4GB command assigns 4 GB of memory to be shared by all partitions.

Set lp_error_target 0 assigns partition 0 to receive and process the error interrupts.

The lpinit command completes the procedure and partitions the system.
