On Enterprise Alpha Servers that are not equipped with a diskette drive or Alpha Server 8x00 series machines running under OpenVMS, the Console CD contains the LP8ldr.exe file. To start LP8ldr.exe program from a Console CD under the Alpha Server 8x00 series ARC emulator, issue the following commands.
1.Set console serial.
2.Set arc_enable on.
3.Set Console_mode advanced.
4.Perform a system initialization.
