Removal and Replacement Procedures

5.Remove the memory expansion board by following these steps:

a.Remove the mini PCI communications/memory expansion slot cover.

b.Spread the retaining tabs 1 securing the memory expansion board to the system board (Figure 5-5).

c.The memory expansion board will rise up at a 45-degree angle.

d.Pull the memory expansion board away from the connector at a 45-degree angle 2.
