Examp le
: A boiler that has been idle for s ome ti me sin ce th e las t he at de mand cycle may
have it's boiler wate r tem peratu re re duced to 150°F. The return temp eratu re fro m the next
zone acti vation can not b e les s tha n 110 °F.
If the abo ve co nditio ns e xist, a n RT C sy stem must be in stalled to protec t the boile r fro m
susta ined conde nsing ope ration and therm al sh ock.
