Connecting Your Equipment

Depending on your equipment, the DIR-510L can be set up easily from any device with Wi-Fi and a web browser.

Using Broadband Ethernet: You will need an Ethernet cable connection to your cable or DSL modem.

•Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to your modem and the other end to the Internet port on the DIR-510L.

Using a 3G/4G USB Adapter: You will need a compatible 3G/4G USB adapter with an active SIM card. Please check our compatibility list for more information.

•Plug the 3G/4G USB adapter into the USB port on the DIR-510L.

Connecting to a Wi-Fi Hotspot: You will need the Wi-Fi network name and password of the hotspot you want to connect to.
