Fast Ethernet Switching System User’s Guide

System Reset

The System Reset panel, displayed in Figure 24, enables you to reset the DES- 5200 without powering off.

Some configurations require that the DES-5200 be reset in order for them to take effect. Screen prompts instruct you to reset as needed.

Follow these steps to reset the DES-5200:

1.Select Yes.

2.Press Enter.

To exit without resetting:

1.Select No.

2.Press Enter.
