Removing the Hinge Covers

The hinge covers are not interchangeable; the left one covers the Multimode DisplayPort, and the right one covers the RJ-45 network connector.

1.Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer.

2.Close the display and turn the computer over.

3.Remove the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws from the hinge covers.

4.Slide each hinge cover off the computer and lift to remove it.

3	M2.5 x 5-mm screws (2 each)	4	Multimode DisplayPort

Replacing the Hinge Covers

1.Slide the left hinge cover over the Multimode DisplayPort and slide the right hinge cover over the RJ-45 network connector.

2.Replace the two M2.5x5-mm screws in each hinge cover.
