Load up to Make sure
20 sheets of banner paper •The print side of the banner faces down.
•The leading edge of the banner paper feeds into the printer first.
•If your printer has more than one paper tray, then load banner paper in
Tray 1.
To load banner paper:
1Pull the tray completely out of the printer.
2Remove all paper from the tray.
3Move the paper guides as th ough you were loading legal -size paper.
4Squeeze the lever and pull to extend the tray to legal size.
5Tear off only the number of pages needed to print the banner.
6Set the stack of pages in front of the printer.
7Slide the first sheet from the stack of pages over the tray handle and all
the way into the back of tray.
Saving paper default settings
You can set the default paper size, paper type, and photo print size for the documents and photos that you print.
Note: These default settings apply only to print, copy, and sca n jobs that you initiate f rom the printer.
1From the printer control panel, press .
2Choose the default settings:
•If you want to set the default paper size:
aPress to select Paper Setu p.
bPress the up or down arrow button to scrol l to Paper Size, and then press .
cPress the up or down arrow button to select the default paper size for the printer, and then press .
•If you want to set the default paper type:
aPress to select Paper Setu p.
bPress the up or down arrow button to scrol l to Paper Type, and then press .
cPress the up or down arrow button to select the default paper type for the printer, and then press .
•If you want to set the default photo print size:
aPress the up or down arrow button to scrol l to Defaults, and then press .
bPress to select Photo Prin t Size.
