3 Press the ENTER button twice to change the current time.
4 Press the CURSOR •, ª, 0 or 1 button to set the current time, then press the ENTER button.
Example: When the current time is set to “PM 7:30”
5 Press the ENTER button to enter the setting.
•To check the current time when the regular display is displayed, press the STATUS button once.
•The time can be displayed by pressing the STATUS button when the power is in the standby mode. (When this is done, the set is no longer in the low power consumption standby mode.) When pressed twice while the time is displayed, the display turns off and the set is put back in the low power consumption
standby mode.( page 54).
•The clock runs by synchronizing with the power supply frequency. The time may be off by 2 to 3 minutes per month. If so, reset the time.
Setting the sleep timer
•The included remote control unit can be used to turn the power to the standby mode after a maximum of 120 minutes. (Sleep timer)
•Use this function to automatically switch the power to the standby mode after a specific amount of time (minutes).
Example: To set the power to the standby mode in 50 minutes according to the clock.
1 Select and play the desired function.
2 Press the SLEEP button.
• “120” is displayed and the “SLEEP” indicator flashes.

The display switches as follows each time the SLEEP button is pressed:

“SLEEP” indicator off
3 When the “SLEEP” indicator is flashing, press the SLEEP button again until “50” is displayed.
• “50” is displayed and the “SLEEP” indicator flashes.

After 4 seconds, the display returns to as it was before the sleep timer was set, and the “SLEEP” indicator stops flashing, remaining lit. (This completes the sleep timer setting.)
4 The power is set to the standby mode 50 minutes later.
To turn the sleep timer off, press the SLEEP button repeatedly until the “SLEEP” indicator turns off. The sleep timer can also be turned off by press the ON/STANDBY switch on the main unit or the remote control unit to turn the entire system’s power to the standby mode.

•If the sleep timer and everyday timer settings overlap, the sleep timer has priority.
