System Setup
4 When “SCREEN SAVER” is selected:
Press the CURSOR • or ª button to select the
button.
OFF (Factory default):
Select this when you do not want the screen saver to operate.
ON:
Select this to start up the screen saver. The screen saver starts up if no operation is performed for about 5 minutes.
5 Press the CURSOR ª button to select “NEXT
SETUP MENU”, then press the ENTER to enter the setting.
• The next screen in the “SETUP” menu screen appears.
Setting “TIMER SETUP”
•With the

page 35). The timer will not operate if the current time is not set.
2Setting the “ONCE TIMER” and “EVERY TIMER”
1 Press the CURSOR 0 or 1 button to select “TIMER SETUP” icon, then press the ENTER button.
• The “TIMER SETUP” menu screen appears.
2 Press the CURSOR • or ª button to select “ONCE TIMER” or “EVERY TIMER”, then press the ENTER button.
• The respective timer setting screens are displayed.
ONCE TIMER:
Use the once timer to switch the power on and off (standby) at the specified time once only.
EVERY TIMER:
Use the every timer to switch the power on and off (standby) once at the same time each day.
CLOCK SETUP:
Use to set the current time ( 
page 35, 36).

3 Press the CURSOR • or ª button to select “ENABLE”.
DISABLE (Factory default):
Set this to disable the “ONCE TIMER” or “EVERY TIMER” function that has been set.
ENABLE:
Set this to enable the “ONCE TIMER” or “EVERY TIMER” function that has been set.
4 Press the CURSOR •, ª, 0 or 1 button to select start time, end time, and function, then press the ENTER button.
When “TUNER” is selected, the preset frequency can also be selected.
Example:
Listening to P01 (FM 92.5 MHz) from “PM 12:35” to “PM 12:56” using the “EVERY TIMER”.
5 Press the CURSOR • or ª button to select “EXIT SETUP”, then press the ENTER button.
•The timer is turned on and the timer standby indicator
lights. This completes the setting of the timer.
6 Press the ON/STANDBY switch.
• The standby mode is set.
(The power indicator turns orange.)
When the timer start time is reached, the timer operates.
•To exit the once timer or every timer set mode:
Press the RETURN button, you can go back to the previous screen.
